Mama Shelter Marseille

Hotel was very cute and Instagram-ready. Cheerful and cool. The staff were amazing, particularly bartender Alexei. My French is atrocious but he patiently let me try to talk to him :-) We ordered dinner one night at the bar and the PANISSES were amazing. The goat cheese salad and pancetta plate were also good. The fresh plates of vegetables, cheese and meat were the best value for money. The breakfast was lovely, the perfect start to a day of adventuring in the city. Room stayed cold and mostly quiet. Located within walking distance of Cours Julien, a plaza bustling with life and cafes. A bit further of a walk to Vieux Port.

Great location, close to Cours Julien and just 10 mins walk to the center. The room was small but cute, very clean and comfortable, with a good sized bathroom and even a desk and TV. There is a fun bar and restaurant downstairs.

it’s extremely clean, has a great vibe. staff are EXTREMELY friendly and helpful. The set up and decor are very contemporary. I did find the room to be a bit of a tight squeeze and the desk is not conducive to extended periods of work, however I did head down to the restaurant to continue working and plugged in my pods to block out the noise.

The property was great. Beds were comfortable. Staff was friendly. It was not in the area we expected. But we loved the diversity present.
